Job Description

Based in Dandenong with opportunities to learn in Field and Workshop positions , this role strives to develop a multi-skilled Fitter & Turner throughout a 4 year competency based trade apprenticeship. The role will give exposure to a range of tasks demanded of a contemporary fitter and turner including:

Manufacturing using conventional & CNC machinery - Lathes, Milling Machines and associated workshop equipment

n

Component repair, assembly and testing

n

Workshop & Field Service - maintenance and overhauls of reciprocating compressors and rotating equipment

n

Warehouse and Logistics Training - understanding parts interpretation and logistics processes

n

Potential candidates should have:

n

High attention to detail with interest in mechanical machinery

n

Good mechanical aptitude and enjoy working with your hands

n

A strong regard for safety and strive to adhere to Hoerbiger Quality,



Safety & Environment Management Systems

n

Willingness to undertake travel and work in metropolitan and regional locations to develop your skills. This is a physically demanding job and you will be mainly working in busy (sometimes noisy) workshops.

Reliable, self-motivated and enthusiastic approach to work

Excellent communication and organisational skills

n
