Looking for flexibility? We are seeking experienced Endoscopy Registered Nurses to join a busy and supportive team in Canberra.
The Role
This is a great opportunity for experienced Endoscopy RNs looking to pick up ad hoc and flexible shifts around their existing commitments. You'll work within a fast-paced procedural environment, supporting a range of endoscopy procedures and providing high-quality patient care throughout the admission and procedure.
What's On Offer
- Competitive hourly rates, dependent on experience and RN level
- Flexible contract length, approximately 4–6 weeks - 06/10 – 13/11
- Ad hoc shifts to suit your availability
- Support from a dedicated recruitment team throughout your placement
Key responsibilities and experience include:
- Ad hoc and flexible shifts - at least 3 shifts per week
- Supporting gastroscopy and colonoscopy procedures
- Haemorrhoid banding
- Haemoclip procedures
- Specimen collection and handling
- Pre- and post-procedure patient care
- Working collaboratively with the wider procedural and clinical team
What We're Looking For
- Current AHPRA registration
- Recent Endoscopy nursing experience
- Confidence working in a fast-paced procedural environment
- Solid clinical and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to travel independently to and from shifts
