An established independent specialty coffee roaster is seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Coffee Machine Technician to join its service team.

n

This is a hands-on field service role involving the installation, servicing, preventative maintenance and repair of commercial coffee machines, grinders and associated café equipment across Melbourne and regional Victoria.
n The role may also occasionally involve servicing residential coffee machines and interstate travel.

n

You will represent the business in customers' venues, so we are looking for someone who combines strong technical ability with professionalism, clear communication and excellent customer service.

ABOUT THE ROLE

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Diagnosing and repairing coffee machine faults
n
- Completing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
n
- Installing commercial coffee machines, grinders and associated equipment
n
- Responding to equipment breakdowns and completing repairs efficiently
n
- Testing equipment and confirming it is operating correctly before leaving a customer's site
n
- Cleaning the machine and leaving the workspace clean and tidy after completing each service
n
- Completing accurate service reports and recording parts used
n
- Communicating clearly with customers and the internal team
n
- Managing the parts, tools and stock carried in your service vehicle
n
- Providing customers with basic equipment care and operational guidance
n
- Travelling throughout metropolitan and regional Victoria as required
n
- Undertaking occasional overnight or interstate travel, on a very limited basis and with advance notice wherever possible

ABOUT YOU

n

Ideally, you will have:

n

n
- Previous experience servicing and repairing commercial coffee machines
n
- Experience working with related café equipment
n
- A practical and solutions focused approach to technical problems
n
- Strong attention to detail and pride in completing work properly
n
- Excellent time management and the ability to work independently
n
- Clear and skilled communication skills
n
- A friendly and customer focused manner
n
- A current Australian driver licence
n
- Full Australian working rights
n

n

Experience working with leading commercial espresso machine, grinder and automated milk system brands will be highly regarded.

n

Applications will also be considered from experienced appliance, electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, plumbing or field service technicians who have strong diagnostic skills and an interest in commercial coffee equipment.
