Job Description

Tamworth Golf Club is seeking a motivated and mechanically capable individual to join our team in a full-time position focused on golf course equipment maintenance and course grounds maintenance. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys working with machinery and is confident maintaining and repairing a range of golf course maintenance equipment. The position will be split between equipment maintenance and repair and golf course grounds maintenance, with some flexibility around the weekly schedule.

Key responsibilities

- Maintaining, servicing and repairing our fleet of golf course maintenance equipment
n
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
n
- Working with diesel and petrol engines
n
- Maintaining and repairing hydraulic systems
n
- Undertaking auto-electrical fault finding and repairs
n
- Assisting with general golf course and grounds maintenance
n




- Working as part of a team to ensure the course and equipment are maintained to a high standard
n
- Participating in a rotating weekend roster for early-morning course maintenance, including mowing of greens
n
- Undertaking weekend work as required on a rotating roster
n

About you

- Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
n
- Knowledge and experience with diesel and petrol engines, hydraulics and auto-electrical systems
n
- A willingness to undertake a variety of mechanical and grounds maintenance tasks
n
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
n
- A good level of physical fitness
n
- The ability and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
n
- A solid work ethic and reliable attitude
n
- A current and valid driver's licence
n
- The availability and willingness to undertake rostered weekend early-morning work
