Job Description

Superior refinish is looking for an experienced Automotive Spray Painter to join our team in a full-time mobile role. Rather than spending every day in the same workshop, you'll be travelling to customers' homes, dealerships and other locations to complete automotive cosmetic repairs on-site. Every day is a little different, and you'll have the opportunity to work independently, meet different customers and businesses, and take your work with you rather than being stuck inside a workshop all day.

Key responsibilities

- Complete a range of mobile automotive repairs, including bumper corner repairs and paintwork
n
- Repair scratches, scuffs and minor panel damage
n
- Carry out alloy wheel repairs and refinishing
n
- Perform colour matching and blending to a high level
n
- Complete SMART repairs and cosmetic refinishing
n
- Carry out general automotive spray painting and touch-up work
n
- Prepare, mask, prime and refinish repaired areas
n
- Assess repairs, work out the best way to tackle them and complete jobs efficiently without removing vehicle parts or sending back to a workshop
n
- Work neatly and efficiently at customer and dealership locations
n




- Deal with customers in a professional and friendly manner

About you

n

n
- Solid experience as an Automotive Spray Painter
n
- Experience with SMART and mobile repairs
n
- Confidence repairing and painting bumper corners and other small cosmetic repairs
n
- Experience with wheel repairs and painting
n
- Good colour-matching and blending skills
n
- Strong preparation and finishing skills
n
- Positive attention to detail and pride in your work
n
- Ability to take a job from start to finish on your own
n
- Comfortable working outside of a traditional workshop environment
n
- Be confident in using basic hand tools
n
- Current's driver's licence
n
