This is a hands‐on role for someone who is keen to work, willing to get stuck in and interested in learning the civil construction and earthworks industry.

n

You will be working outdoors across a variety of civil and earthworks projects, assisting plant operators and supervisors and carrying out general labouring and site duties. This is a physically active role involving genuine manual labour, so we are looking for someone who is prepared to work hard and contribute to the team.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Assisting with general civil and earthworks site duties
n
- Performing manual labour and physically demanding tasks as required
n
- Supporting plant operators and supervisors with site activities
n
- Assisting with site preparation, clean-up and general site maintenance
n
- Loading, unloading and moving materials and equipment
n
- Maintaining clean, organised and safe work areas
n
- Following site instructions, SWMS, pre-start requirements and safety procedures
n
- Identifying and reporting hazards, incidents and safety concerns
n
- Participating in site inductions, pre-starts, toolbox talks and training
n
- Following reasonable instructions from supervisors and working as part of a team
n

- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour

- Willing to work outdoors and in a physically demanding environment
n
- Able to follow instructions and work safely as part of a team
n
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills

- Takes pride in their work and is prepared to get stuck in
n
- Previous civil or construction experience is preferred but not essential
n
- HR licence is advantageous but not essential
n
- Ability to identify and raise safety concerns when something doesn't look right
n
