We are seeking a passionate Music teacher to join our collaborative department from Term 1, 2027 in a full-time permanent capacity (1.0 FTE).

About the role

n

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality Music education and supporting the liturgical life of the College.

n

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Deliver engaging Music lessons aligned with NESA curriculum requirements.
n
- Prepare and deliver liturgical music for College Masses, celebrations, and prayer services.
n
- Plan and implement effective programs, lesson plans, and assessment strategies that support student learning.
n
- Use diverse instructional methods and technology to cater to diverse learning needs.
n
- Assess and report on student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
n
- Foster a positive classroom environment that supports engagement and wellbeing.
n
- Contribute to departmental initiatives, school events, and broader school life while upholding duty of care responsibilities.
n
- The ability to lead the choir would be an advantage.

About you

n

n
- Strong musical proficiency, including vocal and/or instrumental capability.
n
- Experience preparing and leading liturgical music in Catholic or similar faith-based settings.
n
- A collaborative, professional, and student centred approach.
n
- Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
n




- Current NSW Working With Children Check and appropriate teaching accreditation.
n
