Container & Wharf Experience

n

- MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card)
n
- Previous wharf and port experience
n
- Empty container park experience
n
- Experience collecting and delivering import/export containers
n
- Good understanding of container procedures, including container numbers, seals, and paperwork
n

n

Side Loader Experience

n

n
- Experience loading and unloading 20ft and 40ft containers
n
- Ability to safely position and secure containers
n
- Good understanding of safe operating procedures around loading/unloading areas
n

n

Heavy Vehicle / Truck Driving Experience

n

n
- Appropriate heavy vehicle license for the vehicle being operated
n
- Strong heavy vehicle driving experience
n
- Good knowledge of metropolitan and interstate roads/routes
n
- Clean driving history preferred
n
- Good understanding of Chain of Responsibility (COR), vehicle safety, and load restraint requirements
n
- Ability to complete daily vehicle inspections and identify/report defects
n

n

Fatigue Management

n

n
- BFM (Basic Fatigue Management) experience/certification preferred
n




- Experience working within regulated fatigue management requirements
n
- Understanding of work diary / fatigue recording requirements
n
- Positive understanding of fatigue management and work/rest requirements
n
- MT DATA experience
n

n

Oversize / General Freight Experience (will be highly regarded)

n

n
- Previous experience with oversize and/or over mass loads preferred
n
- Experience with rigid trucks and general freight
n
- Experience securing loads using chains, straps, binders, and other appropriate restraint equipment
n
- Understanding of load restraint requirements
n
- Experience with permits, escort requirements and oversize load procedures would be highly regarded
n
