Young Sunn Natural Therapies at Eight Mile Plains is currently seeking experienced and talented full-time Remedial Massage Therapists to join our team and support the daily operations of our busy clinic.

Young Sunn Natural Therapies at Eight Mile Plains provides Chinese medicine treatment, acupuncture, rehabilitation and remedial massage services. Our team is growing, and we pride ourselves on maintaining a friendly, enthusiastic and supportive working environment.

- Hold Relevant Qualifications: Hold relevant qualifications in remedial massage, such as a Diploma of Remedial Massage or equivalent.
- Have Relevant Skilled Experience: Have a minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience as a Massage Therapist or Remedial Massage Therapist.
- Be a Team Player: Work effectively and collaboratively with fellow therapists, Chinese medicine practitioners, acupuncturists and support staff, contributing positively to the clinic's team environment.

Job Description

Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Assess patients' medical history, symptoms, relevant information and required massage therapies in consultation with our Chinese medicine practitioners and acupuncturists before treatment.
- Perform massage therapies and touch modalities including Deep Tissue, Sports, Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) remedial massage.
- Apply massage treatments to assist with pain and a range of conditions, including the rehabilitation of athletic injuries, relaxation and the healing of injured muscle tissue.
- Support patients' overall health by providing guidance on posture, strengthening, stretching, rehabilitative exercises and relaxation techniques.
- Complete, maintain and file patients' notes and records after each treatment or visit.
- Participate in staff meetings and training, and maintain treatment rooms in a clean and professional manner, including stocking products and linens, cleaning, instrument sterilisation and replacing massage linens.
- Maintain and continuously develop knowledge of remedial massage techniques, anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology, working collaboratively with remedial massage therapists, Chinese medicine practitioners and acupuncturists.
