Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic & experienced Shift Leaders to join our team in Caboolture North (Big Fish) which is set to open January 2027.

We are looking for positive, ambitious, like-minded people in Casual and Full Time positions. As a Shift Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining high standards of customer service, and leading a team of dedicated staff members.

- Oversee and coordinate daily shift operations, ensuring efficient service and high-quality standards
- Lead, motivate, and support team members to achieve individual and collective goals
- Manage staff schedules and allocate tasks effectively to optimise productivity
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management
- Maintain a clean, organised, and secure work environment
- Assist in training new team members and providing ongoing coaching to existing staff
- Collaborate with management to implement new initiatives and improve operational processes
- Prepare and submit accurate shift reports and other relevant documentation

Qualifications





- Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the food service or retail sector
- Demonstrated track record of providing outstanding customer service
- Food Safety Supervisor certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Responsible Service of Alcohol certification (or willingness to complete the course)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Basic computer literacy for managing schedules, reports, and other administrative tasks
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation

- Applicants must be 18+ to apply for this leadership role
- Hiring commencing October for training in the Caboolture restaurant until Caboolture North opens Jan 2027
