Bidfood Lismore is looking for a reliable and energetic individual to join our team as a Storeperson at our branch. This role is for Monday to Thursday, working the evening shift.

This role suits someone who works well in a fast-paced setting, stays focused under pressure and is comfortable operating in freezer, chiller and dry store areas. It's physical, it's practical and it's essential to the success of hospitality businesses.

About the role

- Pick and assemble goods accurately
n
- Load trucks efficiently and safely
n
- Receive, put away and rotate stock
n
- Maintain tidy and accurate bin locations
n
- Perform duties in freezer environments (down to -25°C)
n
- Support warehouse housekeeping and safety protocols
n
- Work overtime when required to meet demand
n

About you

n

We're looking for someone who enjoys the physical side of work, can be relied on to show up and work hard and takes pride in doing a job properly. You're punctual, practical and a team player. The kind of person others can count on when it gets busy.

If you've worked in hospitality or kitchens before and understand the pace and importance of getting things right, that experience translates perfectly to this role. Previous warehouse experience and a forklift licence are an advantage, but more important is your work ethic,



attitude and willingness to learn.

Skills and experience

- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
n
- Previous warehouse or Storeperson experience (a plus)
n
- Good communication and time management skills
n
- Forklift licence with reach experience preferred
n
- Comfortable working across freezer, chiller and dry areas
n
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical (if required)
