Are you an experienced Medical Receptionist looking for your next opportunity in a qualified and supportive healthcare environment?

Diagnostic Imaging for Women (difw) is a specialist women's imaging centre located in the heart of Brisbane CBD. Our dedicated team provides high-quality diagnostic imaging services, with a strong focus on patient care, privacy, dignity and personalised service.

n

We are looking for a friendly, organised and patient-focused Medical Receptionist to join our team on a full-time basis and to assist in our Imaging Queensland clinic from time to time.

About The Role

n

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be an significant part of the patient journey, providing a warm and professional experience from the moment patients arrive.

n

Your Responsibilities Will Include

n

n
- Welcoming and assisting patients in a professional and compassionate manner
n
- Managing patient bookings, appointments and enquiries
n
- Answering incoming calls and responding to patient queries
n
- Processing referrals and patient information
n
- Liaising with Radiologists, Sonographers, Mammographers and other members of the clinical team
n
- Processing payments and Medicare/private health claims
n
- Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentialitySupporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice
n

About You

n

We are looking for someone who:

n

n
- Has previous medical reception or healthcare administration experience
n
- Has excellent customer service and communication skills
n
- Is confident managing a busy reception and telephone environment
n




- Has strong attention to detail and organisational skills
n
- Is professional, approachable and empathetic
n
- Can work effectively as part of a close-knit team
n
- Understands the importance of privacy, confidentiality and patient care
n

n

Experience in radiology or specialist medical practices will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
