About You
n
Hydraulic Doctors is looking for a confident and capable business minded person with a mature and professional attitude for this hands on, office-based position responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day administrative functions and assisting with business operations. You will be providing support across multiple areas including front of house, accounts, administration, sales, purchasing and logistics.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Manage front of house including maintaining high standards of customer service & product presentation;
n
- Screening and prioritising phone calls and customer enquiries;
n
- Take responsibility for daily office operations and administration functions;
n
- Support employees to maintain high standards of service and productivity;
n
- Liaise with suppliers, customers and external service providers;
n
- Respond to emails and correspondence;
n
- Collaborate and assist with co-ordinating job bookings and maintenance schedules to ensure efficiency;
n
- Purchasing;
n
- Accurate entry of supplier invoices,
parts and components;
n
- Manage accounts receivable and payable including detailed invoicing;
n
- Implement, maintain and update office systems;
n
- Use initiative and sound judgement to take the lead in the absence of management when required, including opening and closing of premises;
n
- Support Director's with daily operations to maintain efficiency and achieve Company objectives.

Skills and Experience
n
n
- Demonstrated experience running a business; or demonstrated experience in a senior office manager/administration role within a small-medium business enterprise;
n
- Strong understanding and experience with business systems and procedures
n
- Proficient time management and organisation skills;
n
- Must have excellent reception skills and be able to take explicit, concise messages;
n
- Effective relationship building skills across all stakeholders including customer service;
n
- Demonstrated accounts experience with a high level of accuracy | Experience with MYOB preferable;
n
- Diploma in Business an advantage;
n
- Initiative and solutions oriented with logical and effective problem- solving skills;
n
- High attention to detail;
n
- An advanced level of Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Outlook, Word and Excel;
n
- Experience with inventory management highly desirable;
n
- Drivers licence required.
n
n
Full-time permanent role (Mon-Fri | 8.00am to 4.06pm + ocassional overtime as required);
n
Circa 75k-80k or competitive rate negotiable to match required skills and experience + allowances + super;
n
