Due to continued growth, we're looking for a motivated Plumbing Apprentice to join our team and kick-start a career in the trade. This role would suit a school leaver, or someone looking for a change, who is keen to learn from experienced, qualified plumbers.
n
You'll be joining a friendly and supportive team who are hardworking, highly motivated and enjoy a laugh along the way.
n
Based in North Melbourne, we service clients across all of Melbourne.
n
About You:
n
n
- No prior experience necessary. Just a genuine interest in a career in plumbing and a strong work ethic
n
- Willing to attend TAFE/RTO training as part of your apprenticeship and apply what you learn on the job
n
- A problem solver. You show initiative in solving problems the right way, not the easy way!
n
- Someone who doesn't mind their own company. Can work autonomously as well as part of a team
n
- Professional and well presented, with outstanding communication skills
n
- Will focus on being safe every day in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations
n
- Good with words. You are able to write clear and concise job notes
n
- Reliable, punctual and eager to learn from experienced tradespeople
n
n
Qualifications:
n
n
- Currently enrolled in, or eligible to enrol in, a Certificate III in Plumbing
n
- Current or willing to obtain a red/white card
n
- Current driving license
n
- Able to obtain Police and Working with Children (Employee) Checks
n
- Structured on-the-job training and mentoring from experienced, qualified plumbers
n
- A clear pathway and support to complete your Certificate III in Plumbing
n
- Tools and PPE provided
n
