We are seeking a reliable and experienced HR Truck Driver to join our growing team in Townsville. You will play a vital role in ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods while representing Agile Transport Services with professionalism and care.

Key responsibilities

- Operate HR vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with company and legal standards
n
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, report maintenance issues, and ensure vehicles are clean and roadworthy
n
- Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups
n
- Load and unload freight using appropriate manual handling techniques and equipment
n
- Complete and submit delivery paperwork, run sheets, and digital logs accurately
n
- Adhere to fatigue management, safety, and traffic regulations at all times
n
- Maintain clear and skilled communication with dispatch, clients, and team members
n
- Report incidents, delays, or service issues promptly
n

About you

n

n




- Valid Australian HR driver's licence (held for at least 1 year)
n
- Minimum of 3 years' experience driving heavy rigid trucks
n
- Clean driving record and solid understanding of road transport regulations
n
- Good physical fitness and ability to handle manual loading and unloading
n
- Solid time management skills and ability to work independently
n
- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform minor maintenance checks
n
- Knowledge of Townsville and surrounding delivery areas (desirable)
n
- Experience using GPS and route planning software (desirable)
n
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols (desirable)
