We are currently seeking a Kitchen Production Cook to join our team on a casual basis.
About the Role
This role is ideal for an experienced cook who enjoys working in a fast-paced production workplace and takes pride in delivering quality food with consistency.
Working minimum 2-3 days per week, you will support food preparation and production for Cornerstone Café, ensuring products are prepared efficiently and presented to a high standard.
Initial availability is required on Mondays and Thursdays, with the roster expected to transition to Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Additional shifts and hours may be available during peak trading and busy periods.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare, cook and present menu items to established recipes and standards.
Support daily food production and preparation requirements.
Ensure food quality, consistency and presentation standards are maintained.
Assist with stock rotation, storage and inventory management.
Maintain a clean, organised and efficient work environment.
Follow all food safety, HACCP and WHS requirements.




Work collaboratively with chefs, cooks and wider hospitality teams.
Contribute to efficient kitchen operations during busy service periods.
Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as required.

About You
You are reliable, organised and enjoy working as part of a busy kitchen team.
To be successful in this role, you'll have:

Previous experience as a Cook, Production Cook or Kitchen Team Member.
Experience working in a high-volume café, restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to work efficiently and maintain quality under pressure.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Availability to work Mondays and Thursdays initially.
Flexibility to move to a Monday, Wednesday and Friday roster.
Availability for additional shifts during peak periods when required.
Full Australian working rights.
