Acostar have an opportunity as a Delivery Planner to support our Transport team based in Sunshine West. Working alongside key stakeholders in the business you will support with the next day container delivery plans

The position:

This role specializing in next day Full Container deliveries outlining all Sideloader deliveries, well as critical on dock time deliveries. key parts to being successful is thriving on an ownership, accountable mentality whilst building respectful relationships with our driver pool covering company and owner driver subcontractors.

The role will work directly with the fleet control team and reports to our Transport Manager

Your responsibilities will include:

- Plan the next day delivery schedule, Inc. matching collection of empty containers.
- Have a cost effective planning mindset for best utilization of fleet equipment.
- Adapt with vessel changes, delays,



and operational disruptions in real time.
- Maintain clear communications with internal customer service teams to ensure client delivery requirements are met.
- Extensive knowledge of the Melbourne metropolitan area.
- Ensure driver compliance with Mass Management and OOG (out of gauge) container movements.
- Sending transparent next day start times with clear information.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

- Hands-on demonstrated experience with delivery planning schedules.
- Previous experience using our TMS Freight Tracker is advantageous
- VBS !-Stop, Containerchain experience advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and approachable demeaner.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to be organized in a ever changing, time-crucial environment
