Our last Finance Manager is now our Finance Director.

That’s the path this role is built on. We need the person who comes next — someone who can run group finance day to day, lead their own team, and run the whole function when the Finance Director is away.

This isn’t a close-and-report job. Behind Aqua Dining, Sails Lavender Bay, The Nielsen, Ripples and Riva Rose Bay sits a multi-entity group with daily cash and card takings, weekly payroll and a stocktake every month. You’ll own the machinery that makes sense of it — and you’ll have the authority to change how it runs.

- The close — every entity, one retail calendar, and a mandate to take it to working day 5
- The cash — a rolling 13-week forecast across the group that the Finance Director uses to make funding decisions
- The team — accountants, bookkeepers and payroll specialists in Sydney and the Philippines; you hire them, train them and decide how the work flows
- The seat at the table — monthly reviews with our Operations Managers, where your numbers change what happens in the venues
- The acting Director role — when the Finance Director is away, you run finance

You’ll be

- CA or CPA qualified, with 5+ years in senior finance including ownership of a full month-end close
- Fluent in multi-entity — consolidation and intercompany across separate legal entities
- From hospitality or another multi-site business with daily trade and weekly payroll
- The owner of a rolling cash-flow forecast in your current or most recent role
- Someone who has led offshore team members and made them part of the team
- Sydney-based and comfortable spending time in our venues

Bonus points for 2IC experience, F&B; stocktake and cost-of-goods work, hospitality award interpretation, and hands-on use of AI in finance.
