We're looking for a practical, reliable and hands‐on Maintenance Officer to join the team at BIG4 Caloundra.

This is a wide-ranging role for someone who is genuinely handy, takes pride in their work and enjoys keeping things working, looking great and running smoothly. No two days are quite the same - one minute you might be repairing a cabin door, the next fixing a tap, assembling furniture or tackling general maintenance around the park.

The Role

n

Your day-to-day will include:

n

n
- General repairs and maintenance across cabins, facilities and common areas
n
- Basic carpentry, painting, patching and handyman work
n




- Minor plumbing and general repairs within your capabilities
n
- Furniture assembly, repairs and installations
n
- Identifying maintenance issues and getting onto them before they become bigger problems
n
- Assisting with preventative maintenance
n
- Supporting contractors and larger maintenance projects when required
n
- Helping keep the park safe, functional and looking its best
n

About You

n

You're the kind of person who sees something that needs fixing and gets it sorted.

n

You'll ideally have:

n

n
- Strong general handyman and maintenance skills
n
- Experience in a maintenance, trade, construction, facilities or similar hands‐on role
n
- Good problem‐solving skills and the ability to work independently
n
- Great attention to detail and pride in your work
n
- Good communication skills and a friendly approach - we are a holiday park, so you'll regularly be around guests
n
