OneTree Allied Health is an OT-led practice providing NDIS and aged care services across the Tweed, Northern Rivers, Gold Coast and the Mid North Coast. Our work includes Functional Capacity Assessments, home modifications, assistive technology, and capacity building. We are part of OneTree Health Group, alongside our sister organisation WEYA Disability Supports.

The role

n

We are looking for a casual Occupational Therapy Assistant to support our OT team with clinical documentation and client coordination. This is a report-heavy, office-based role in Kingscliff.

Reports and documentation

n

n
- Draft Functional Capacity Assessment reports from OT assessment notes
n
- Draft home modification reports and supporting documents
n
- Prepare basic floor plans and measured drawings for home modification reports
n
- Draft assistive technology reports and funding applications
n
- Draft progress reports and end-of-plan reports from session notes
n
- Prepare session plans, home programs, client handouts and therapy resources
n
- Collate background information before assessments (previous reports, plans, referral details)
n
- Build and update report templates and resource libraries
n




- Keep client files and documentation up to date
n

Client and equipment coordination

n

n
- Coordinate assessment bookings with clients, families and support coordinators
n
- Coordinate equipment trials with suppliers and families
n
- Research assistive technology options, and request and follow up supplier quotes
n

About you

n

n
- Currently studying OT or another allied health degree
n
- Strong written English and attention to detail
n
- Clear, qualified communication with clients, families and suppliers
n
- Confident with Word and practice management software
n
- Interested in NDIS, aged care and community practice
n
- Able to work on site in the Kingscliff office
n
- Willing to obtain compliance documentation
n

- Hands-on exposure to FCAs, home modifications, assistive technology and aged care work before you graduate
