Sweepers Australia is a well-established Australian company specialising in the supply, service and hire of industrial sweepers, floor scrubbers and cleaning equipment.

As our business continues to grow and expand across Queensland, we are looking for a motivated Service Technician to join our Yatala-based Brisbane team.

n

This is a hands-on, mobile role performing on-site servicing, repairs, preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis on small to medium floor-cleaning machinery throughout the Greater Brisbane region.

n

You will work across a diverse range of equipment, including battery-electric, LPG and diesel-powered machines, servicing both customer-owned equipment and our growing national rental fleet.

n

The Role

n

Working primarily in the field, your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Carrying out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
n
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
n
- Attending customer sites for breakdowns and repairs
n
- Servicing battery-electric, LPG and diesel-powered equipment
n
- Completing repairs and maintenance on our rental fleet
n
- Accurately completing service reports and job documentation
n
- Identifying required parts and communicating repair requirements
n
- Maintaining your company vehicle, tools and equipment
n
- Providing professional and helpful service to our customers
n
- Working closely with our Brisbane service and support team
n

About You

n

We are looking for someone who is mechanically minded, reliable and comfortable working independently in the field.

n

Experience with industrial cleaning equipment is an advantage, but not essential.



We are particularly interested in hearing from technicians with experience in areas such as:

n

n
- Forklifts and materials handling equipment
n
- Automotive or diesel mechanics
n
- Small engines
n
- Agricultural or construction equipment
n
- Access equipment
n
- Industrial machinery
n
- Auto electrical
n
- Hydraulic and electrical fault finding
n

n

Product-specific training will be provided.

n

You will need to have a current Australian driver's licence, good communication skills and a strong commitment to providing quality workmanship and customer service.
