Benetti's Italian at The Brighton Hotel Sydney is looking for an experienced and motivated Pizza Chef to join our kitchen team.

About the role
As a Pizza Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of pizzas to a consistently high standard. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service and maintain food quality and presentation.

Key responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook pizzas according to menu specifications and recipes.
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces and toppings.
- Monitor cooking times and ensure pizzas are consistently cooked to a high standard.
- Maintain food quality, presentation and portion control.
- Assist with food preparation and other kitchen duties as required.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and storage of ingredients.
- Work effectively with other kitchen staff during busy service periods.
- Follow workplace health and safety and food safety procedures.

About you

The successful candidate will have:

- Previous experience working as a Pizza Chef or in a similar role.
- Strong pizza preparation and cooking skills.
- Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen setting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure during busy service periods.

What we offer

- Full-time employment.
- Salary of AUD $79,000 – $83,000 per annum + superannuation, depending on skills and experience.
