The Team

A&M; is expanding its Restructuring presence in Australia, and we’re looking to hire talented people into our growing Melbourne team!

Our team is targeting and working on larger-scale, formal and informal restructuring work with major clients across a range of industries. You’ll be exposed to trading engagements, voluntary administrations, receiverships and restructuring advisory, contributing to impactful mandates that shape outcomes for businesses in transition.

We’re a close-knit team, offering fantastic leadership, mentorship, and collaboration. You’ll be part of a team that’s not only scaling but also actively building and extending our local presence, with the backing of A&M;’s global reach and financial strength.

How You Will Contribute

Leveraging your previous experience in Restructuring, your responsibilities will see you –

- Support and lead restructuring, turnaround and insolvency engagements across a broad range of sectors.
- Analyse cash flow, liquidity, working capital and financial performance to identify risks and opportunities.
- Prepare financial models, trading forecasts and stakeholder materials to support client recommendations.
- Work with management teams, lenders, creditors and other stakeholders to stabilise businesses and deliver practical outcomes.
- Contribute to formal appointments, including voluntary administrations,



receiverships and liquidations, where relevant.
- Manage workstreams, deadlines and deliverables in a fast-paced, outcomes-focused environment.
- Coach and develop junior team members, with responsibilities scaled to your level of experience

Qualifications

To help be successful and enjoy fulfilment in our team, you’ll ideally bring the following -

- A blend of both informal restructuring and turnaround experience, as well as formal insolvency experience.
- Knowledge of debt restructuring, capital structure optimisation, and turnaround strategies,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and confidently.

- Strong financial analysis skills, with the ability to interpret performance, cash flow, liquidity and working capital information.
- Sound commercial judgement, with the ability to identify key issues, risks and practical options for clients.
- A proactive, adaptable and collaborative mindset, with a willingness to take ownership and work in evolving situations.
- A genuine interest in contributing to a positive team culture and supporting the continued growth of the practice.
