We are working with a welcoming and well-established independent Christian school in North Queensland seeking an experienced Secondary Science/Maths Teacher to join their team for the 2027 school year. The school is looking for a teacher with strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Senior Secondary Science or Maths, who can deliver engaging and high-quality learning experiences across the secondary years.

The Opportunity

The school is seeking a Secondary Science & Maths Teacher with experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Biology
n
- Chemistry
n
- Physics
n
- Senior Maths
n

n

The successful applicant will have experience teaching Year 11 and Year 12 and a strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum and senior secondary assessment requirements.

About You

n

Applicants must:

n

n




- Have Australian working rights
n
- Have experience teaching Year 11 and Year 12
n
- Have previous Australian Curriculum teaching experience
n
- Hold, or be eligible for, Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration
n
- Have strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics
n
- Be committed to working within a Christian school environment
n
- Be passionate about student learning and achieving strong educational outcomes
