Permanent Part-time Medical Receptionist position

Central Sydney Heart is a group cardiology practice located in Burwood, located just a short walk to public transport, Westfield Plaza and Burwood Park. We are seeking a friendly, capable medical secretary for an immediate start. This is a permanent part-time opportunity for the right person keen and able to work in a fast and efficient environment.

Job tasks and responsibilities

n

n
- Meeting and greeting of patients
n
- Receiving phone calls in an efficient and timely manner
n
- Booking/rescheduling appointments via the Shexie medical practice program
n
- Invoicing and receipting of consultations
n
- Liaising with Medicare
n
- Liaising with hospital staff and booking procedures
n
- Collecting and distributing of mail
n
- Management of all patient data/medical records
n
- Typing and faxing of letters
n
- Must be able to work proactively, efficiently, professionally and autonomously
n

Skills and experience

n

n




- Must havemedical reception experiencein a medical clinic.
n
- Mature and confident in liaising with patients, and medical professionals
n
- Must have experience with Shexie medical software or willing to learn
n
- An excellent command of English (additional language skills is desirable)
n
- Prompt and productive time management
n
