Based in the South Eastern suburbs we are an established manufacturer of specialised transportable Control rooms. We currently have an opening for an experienced Mechanical Draftsperson.

This position is ideally suited to someone that has structural steel background. You will be a leading designer responsible for projects ranging from Small to Large. You will need to ensure that quality workmanship and targets are met. A solid knowledge with a wide range of hands-on practice in drafting, design, calculations and quality control. Have the ability to work under pressure and deliver delegated tasks successfully on time by employing the highest standards in the industry.

You will be responsible for:

- Overseeing the design of each project
n




- Providing leadership and technical support to the organisation
n
- Liaising with sales and construction teams
n
- Preparing presentation drawings for the customer
n
- Producing quality production and shop drawings for the factory
n

n

The successful applicant must have:

n

n
- Excellent Solidworks skills and Autocad
n
- Outstanding understanding of the structural steel fabrication and designing
n
- Ability to produce quality shop drawings for the factory
n
- Attention to detail
n
- Excellent work ethic and desire to succeed
