About the Role

n

As our Additional Educational Leader, you'll be a hands-on mentor and role model within the centre. You'll support Educators to implement meaningful learning experiences, strengthen pedagogical practices, and continuously improve outcomes for children.

n

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the floor with teams, coaching and guiding Educators, and contributing to a culture of collaboration, reflection, and growth.

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Supporting Educators to plan, implement, and evaluate engaging learning programs aligned with the EYLF
n
- Mentoring and coaching educators to strengthen teaching practices and professional confidence
n
- Collaborating with room teams to extend children's learning and development
n
- Assisting with curriculum planning, documentation, and critical reflection processes
n
- Supporting compliance with the NQS, EYLF, Child Safe Standards, and centre policies
n
- Working alongside the leadership team to drive continuous improvement initiatives
n
- Building strong relationships with children, families, and the wider community
n
- Contributing to a positive, collaborative, and inclusive team culture
n




- Supporting educator development through modelling, feedback, and ongoing guidance
n

What You'll Bring

n

n
- Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
n
- Demonstrated experience leading curriculum and supporting educator development
n
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS)
n
- A passion for continuous improvement and high-quality educational outcomes
n
- Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills
n
- A positive, proactive, and collaborative approach to leadership
n
- National Child Safety Training Certificate (Geccko)
n
- Current Blue Card
n
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates
n
- Availability to work 5 days per week
