As an HC Driver at The Haggarty Group pty ltd, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy combination vehicles to transport goods and materials between business locations and customers. This full-time role is based in Ipswich QLD 4305 and requires you to hold a valid HC driver's licence. Normal working hours: 7:30-4:30 with flexibility to start earlier and finish earlier for certain jobs.

What you'll be doing
n
n
- Safely operating heavy combination vehicles, including semi-trailers and hook truck and dog, to transport goods between depots, warehouses and customer sites
n
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness and report any issues
n
- Ensuring loads are secure and comply with all relevant road transport regulations
n
- Maintaining accurate delivery documentation and records
n
- Providing excellent customer service and liaising with customers, dispatchers and other team members
n
- Adhering to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
- Valid HC driver's licence with a minimum of 2 years' experience operating heavy combination vehicles
n
- Strong knowledge of road rules and transport regulations
n
- Excellent driving skills and defensive driving abilities
n
- Commitment to safe work practices and attention to detail
n
- Good communication and customer service skills
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
