Nastasi Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Principal Civil / Stormwater Engineer to join our growing team in Sutherland.

n

This role will involve leading the delivery of civil and stormwater projects, managing client and council relationships, mentoring junior engineers, and supporting the continued growth of our civil engineering capability.

n

Key Requirements

n

A completed civil/structural degree that is recognized by Engineers Australia.

n

5 to 10 years of local experience in a consultancy or local government environment.

n

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

n

Ability to liaise directly with clients, councils and other stakeholders.

n

Thorough understanding of local council stormwater requirements and approval processes.

n

Strong knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and industry guidelines.

n

Excellent organisation and time management skills.

n

Experience in hydraulic services design, including sanitary drainage, trade waste, potable water, hot and cold water services, warm water services, roof drainage and fire services, would be desirable but not essential.

n

Experience with the following software is highly desirable:

Key Responsibilities

n

Lead the delivery of civil and stormwater projects.

n

Mentor and develop junior engineers and designers.

n

Review and approve technical designs and documentation.

n

Manage client and council relationships.

n

Assist in growing the civil engineering capability of the business.

n

Support and train existing stormwater engineers in civil design principles.

n
