The successful applicant will be responsible for warehouse coordination (3 days per week) and furniture deliveries (2 days per week, Mondays & Thursdays). The delivery days will generally align with our main delivery driver servicing the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Gold Coast areas, providing additional support during our busiest delivery periods.
Key responsibilities
- Receiving and checking incoming furniture stock
- Organising and maintaining warehouse inventory
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
- Assisting with stock movements and customer orders
- Delivering new furniture products to residential and commercial customers
- Safely loading, transporting and unloading furniture items
- Completing deliveries across Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast regions
- No weekend work but this job may require early starts or late finishes occasionally
About you
- Experienced in warehousing, furniture handling and/or delivery driving
- Physically fit and capable of safely lifting heavy furniture items
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Strong work ethic and takes pride in completing jobs properly
- Safety-focused with valuable manual handling practices
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional when dealing with customers and suppliers
- Previous warehouse or delivery experience preferred
