About the role

n

An established Australian food manufacturer is seeking an experienced, hands-on supervisor to lead a small production team while completing comprehensive training in equipment and manufacturing processes.

n

Key responsibilities

n

Allocate staff and manage daily production

n

Monitor workflow, output and product quality

n

Train staff and address performance issues

n

Enforce food safety, allergen, GMP and cleaning procedures

n

Complete production and quality records

n

Work across mixing, extruding, wrapping and packing when required

n

About you

n





Previous supervisory experience in food manufacturing or a similar production setting is required

n

Calm, organised and confident directing staff, delegating work and solving production problems

n

Mechanically minded and confident learning, operating and troubleshooting production equipment

n

Experience with mixers, extruders, flow-wrappers or similar machinery would be advantageous

n

A forklift licence would be advantageous but is not essential

n

Able to perform regular manual handling of ingredients and materials weighing up to 25 kg

n

Available to work between 6:30am and 6:30pm when required
