St Augustine's Parish School is a vibrant and inclusive Catholic community in the northern suburbs of Adelaide. Our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) service plays a vital role in supporting families by offering a secure, engaging, and welcoming space for children beyond the school day.

About the Role:

n

We are seeking enthusiastic, caring, and reliable individuals to join our OSHC team on a casual basis. As an OSHC Educator, you will work under general supervision to help deliver high‐quality programs that support children's wellbeing, learning, and development.

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating OSHC and Vacation Care programs.
n
- Support children's inclusion, wellbeing, and daily routines, including personal care when required.
n
- Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
n
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, school policies, and the National Quality Framework.
n
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to general administrative tasks.
n
- Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional learning.
n

About You:

- Commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of St Augustine's Parish School.
n
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with children, families, and staff.
n
- Experience working with children, including those with additional needs (highly desirable).
n
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions in varied situations.
n
- Physical capacity to engage in active play and safely set up learning environments.
n
- Understanding of professional boundaries, confidentiality, and child‐safe practices.
n

Essential Requirements:

n

n
- Certificate III in Children's Services, Education Support, or a related discipline (or equivalent competencies).
n
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
n
- Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN) training.
n
- Approved First Aid qualification (as per ACECQA requirements).
n
- Ability to meet Work Health & Safety obligations.
n
