ALG Talent is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to join our team at Brisbane Airport. This full-time role will manage recruitment assignments across the aviation, aerospace, transport, logistics and defence sectors, supporting both candidates and clients throughout the recruitment process.

We are looking for a confident and organised professional who can build strong relationships, assess candidate suitability, manage competing priorities and maintain accurate recruitment records.

About the Role

n

Working as part of ALG Talent's recruitment team, your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Liaising with clients and hiring managers to understand position requirements, workforce needs and selection criteria
n
- Preparing and managing job advertisements and recruitment campaigns across appropriate sourcing channels
n
- Sourcing candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, professional networks and ALG Talent's database
n
- Reviewing applications, assessing qualifications and experience, and preparing candidate shortlists
n
- Conducting candidate phone screens and structured interviews to assess suitability for available positions
n
- Completing reference checks and coordinating pre-employment, compliance and onboarding requirements
n
- Arranging client interviews, communicating outcomes and assisting with offers and placement coordination
n
- Building and maintaining professional relationships with candidates, clients and industry contacts
n
- Developing talent pipelines for current and future aviation and technical workforce requirements
n
- Maintaining accurate candidate, vacancy and recruitment activity records within the recruitment system
n
- Monitoring recruitment campaigns and providing updates on candidate availability and market conditions
n
- Working towards agreed recruitment,

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- At least 12 months of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, staffing, workforce coordination or a closely related role involving candidate sourcing, screening, suitability assessment and onboarding
n
- Experience conducting candidate screening conversations or structured interviews and assessing candidate suitability
n
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
n
- A professional and confident approach when dealing with candidates and clients
n
- Strong organisation, attention to detail and recordkeeping skills
n
- The ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities in a deadline-driven environment
n
- Sound judgement, initiative and a practical problem-solving approach
n
- Competence with Microsoft Office and recruitment, CRM or database systems
n

n

The following would be advantageous:

n

n
- A qualification in Human Resources, Business, Management, Psychology or a related discipline
n
- Experience recruiting within aviation, aerospace, engineering, transport, logistics or another technical industry
n
- Experience coordinating recruitment compliance and pre-employment requirements
n
