Job Description

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you'll support day-to-day accounts operations by managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring invoices are issued, approved and processed on time. This is a hands-on role that combines financial administration with stakeholder communication and a strong attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, issuing receipts, and payment allocation

n

Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts in a professional and timely manner

n

Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies

n

Maintain accurate financial records and update company accounting systems

n

Prepare reports on debtor balances and assist with cash flow information as required

n

Support month-end processes, including reconciliations, reporting, and documentation

n

Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders regarding account queries and payment matters

n

Provide general finance administration and office support as required

About you

n





Minimum 3 years' experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role

n

Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or Business (preferred)

n

Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting software (Xero)

n

Sound understanding of invoice processing, reconciliations

n

Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail

n

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

n

Positive, proactive, and team-oriented mindset

n

Previous experience in mining or construction highly desirable

n

Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with unrestricted working rights

n

Ability to pass National Criminal History Check
