Optical Dispenser - 4-5 Days

Experienced in optical dispensing and looking for a role where good patient care matters more than sales targets?

n

City Optics has been caring for the local community for more than 30 years, with a focus on making quality eyewear accessible without compromising on service or experience.

n

We're looking for an experienced Optical Dispenser to join the team across 4-5 days per week. Flexibility to work across both the Penrith and Nepean practices would be highly regarded, with the individual working arrangement to be discussed.

n

Availability for Thursday evenings and one weekend day is preferred, but not essential.

n

The role

n

You'll bring your dispensing experience to an established practice where you can get on with what you do well - helping patients find the right optical solution and providing knowledgeable, genuine service.

n

Your role will include:

n

n
- Optical dispensing, including frame and lens selection
n
- Fittings, adjustments, repairs and aftercare
n
- Supporting patients throughout their eyewear journey
n
- General practice and administration duties
n
- Working alongside the Optometrists and wider practice team
n




- Contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
n

There's also the opportunity to be involved in in-house edging and Tonoref pretesting, depending on your experience.

n

For someone bringing broader leadership or practice operations experience, there may also be scope to take on additional 2IC responsibilities.

About you

We're looking for someone who already knows their way around an optical practice and can confidently contribute from the outset.

You'll bring:

- Previous optical dispensing experience
n
- Confidence with frames, lenses, fittings and adjustments
n
- Robust communication and patient service skills
n
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- A reliable, organised and practical approach
n
