Operations & Maintenance (Electrician & Supervisor Level)

As part of our continued growth in the renewable energy sector, ACLE Services is seeking an experienced Electrician – Operations & Maintenance to support a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) site in Pine Lodge, Victoria.

About the Role

n

This is a site-based role responsible for the safe, compliant, and reliable operation of HV and LV electrical systems at a BESS facility. You will work as part of a small on-site team, supporting electrical maintenance, facilities management, contractor coordination, and site operations.

Lead day-to-day site O&M;, maintenance planning and act as Authorised Person for HV switching and isolations

n

Lead site safety culture — toolbox meetings, incident investigation, SWMS/JSEA review

n

Coordinate and monitor OEMs/contractors, and manage spares and site readiness

n

Mentor and provide technical leadership to site electricians

n

Own performance reporting (HammerTech/CMMS) and after-hours fault response

n

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on transformers, switchgear, auxiliary systems and balance-of-plant equipment

n

Respond to alarms, faults and operational events; assist with fault finding, troubleshooting and electrical testing

n





Assist with isolations, switching and HV switching support under approved procedures

n

Monitor plant via SCADA, support contractor coordination and site housekeeping

n

Maintain accurate records (HammerTech/CMMS) and participate in toolbox talks, JSEAs/SWMS and after-hours callouts

About You

n

You are a safety-driven electrician with experience working in operational HV and LV environments. Whether you're looking to apply your trade on the tools or step into a leadership role, you're comfortable working independently on site, collaborating with a small team, and engaging professionally with contractors and visitors.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

n

Grade A Electrical Licence (Australia)

n

Experience in operational HV and LV environments

n

Solid understanding of electrical safety legislation and procedures

n

Experience working under permit-to-work systems

n

Construction White Card

n

Current Driver's Licence

n

(Supervisor level) Demonstrated experience supervising maintenance activities and coordinating contractors

n

HV Switching accreditation or experience (essential for Supervisor if acting as Authorised Person)

n

Current LVR / CPR certification

n

Experience with BESS, renewables, or energy infrastructure

n

Familiarity with SCADA or control systems

n
