This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and growing allied health provider with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, person-centred services. We are ideally seeking a Proficient Behaviour Support Practitioner or above, however, will consider an experienced core level practitioner who is close to achieving Proficient status.

The Role

n

Based around Reservoir or Craigieburn,



you will manage your own Behaviour Support caseload while working closely with participants, families, carers and their wider support networks.

n

- Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments and identifying the functions of behaviours of concern.
n
- Developing high-quality Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans.
n
- Working collaboratively with participants, families, support workers and multidisciplinary teams.
n
- Providing coaching, education and training to families, carers and support teams to successfully implement support strategies.
n
- Monitoring participant progress, reviewing strategies and adjusting plans to achieve positive outcomes.
n
- Supporting clients who have restrictive practices in place and considering fade-out plans where appropriate.
n
- Complete autonomy over calendar and bookings.

What We Are Looking For

n

We would love to hear from practitioners who are:

n

- Proficient-level Behaviour Support Practitioners, or experienced practitioners who are close to progressing to Proficient.
n
- Experienced in delivering Positive Behaviour Support within the NDIS.
n
- Confident completing assessments, developing Behaviour Support Plans and managing their own caseload.
n




- Passionate about delivering ethical, evidence-based and person-centred support.
n
- Robust communicators who enjoy collaborating with families, carers and other health professionals.
n
- Looking for an organisation where they can continue learning and developing without being driven by unrealistic KPIs.
