Engineering Trades Australia are currently seeking an experienced Loader/Excavator Operator to join our client's team on a 2:1 roster, commencing 29 September 2026.

THE ROLE
n
You will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating loaders and excavators across site, supporting production and general earthmoving activities.
n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
n
n
- Safely operate loaders and excavators
n
- Complete daily pre-starts and equipment inspections
n
- Perform bulk earthworks, material movement and general earthmoving duties
n
- Load and move materials safely and efficiently
n
- Work to production targets and site requirements
n
- Identify and report equipment faults or maintenance requirements
n
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping around operating areas
n
- Follow all site safety procedures and environmental requirements
n
- Work effectively as part of a wider site team
n

ABOUT YOU
n
To be successful, you will have:
n
n
- Demonstrated experience operating loaders and excavators
n
- Previous experience in mining, civil, quarrying or earthmoving environments
n
- Relevant tickets and VOCs for the machinery you operate
n
- Strong safety awareness and commitment
n
- Ability to work effectively on a 2:1 roster
n
- Reliable and strong work ethic
n
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
n
- Current driver's licence
n
