We work with many prominent childcare providers across Australia, where our software makes it easier for them to roster & manage staff ratios, manage their teams, and pay staff correctly.

Now we want to grow even faster and bring on more childcare providers, so we’re hiring for the Head of Childcare role.

You will be Tanda’s internal childcare expert: helping us win more customers, keep them using the product, and make sure what we build matches how centres actually operate.

Responsibilities & Duties

Help bring on more childcare customers

Demo Tanda to childcare operators and groups. Join sales conversations, run industry-accurate product walkthroughs, and make introductions that help deals move. Support Account Executives and Sales Development on discovery, objections, proposals and late-stage close (especially multi-site services).

Be the face of Tanda in the Childcare industry

Represent Tanda at industry events, in online groups, and with operators, peak bodies and influencers. Build a network that brings Tanda into the rooms where childcare owners and directors already talk.

Collaborate with the Marketing Team to get more Childcare leads

Work with Marketing on content, webinars, campaigns and events that speak to childcare. Help shape the positioning, messaging, and customer stories that generate and convert childcare leads.

Ensure childcare customers continue to use and get the most out of Tanda

Guide childcare customers on best practices to stay compliant, keep their labour costs in check, and minimise paperwork. Step in on complex accounts and help turn good customers into references.

Be the subject matter expert on everything Childcare

Be the person Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing come to on how childcare businesses run, including rooms, ratios, qualifications, Children's Services Award, NQF/ACECQA, CCS/CCMS, labour cost vs occupancy, and the day-to-day pain of rostering and paying educators.





Stay up to date on what is happening in the childcare industry

Track new laws and regulations, award changes, funding and subsidy shifts, market trends, and the pains and benefits that matter to operators. Translate that into what Tanda should say, sell and build.

Help the product team build a better product for childcares

Bring the perspective of childcare operators and executives to the product team, so they can prioritise the right functionality and take the best approach when building.

About you

- Has worked extensively in managing childcare operations (i.e. managing multiple centres or as a director of a large centre)
- Is passionate about the childcare industry and making it easier for providers to operate their centres
- Commercially minded
