HC Crane Truck Driver - Frames & Trusses

As a HC Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering roof trusses, wall frames, and building components to construction sites. This is a hands‐on role operating a crane-equipped truck, requiring protected transport and unloading of building products while providing excellent customer service on site.

Key responsibilities

n

- Delivering roof trusses, wall frames, and building components to construction sites
n
- Operating the truck‐mounted crane to safely unload products
n
- Securing loads in accordance with transport regulations
n
- Conducting pre‐start and daily vehicle inspections
n
- Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records
n
- Communicating effectively with builders, site supervisors, and dispatch staff
n
- Maintaining a strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n

About you

n

n
- Experience operating heavy vehicles
n
- Ability to safely operate a truck‐mounted crane (or willingness to be trained)
n
- Excellent understanding of load restraint requirements
n
- Good communication and customer service skills
n
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules
n
- White Card (preferred)
n
- Forklift licence and/or CV (Vehicle Loading Crane) ticket highly regarded
n
