What You'll Be Doing

n

- Formulating and refining food products to improve their quality, performance and suitability for production.
n
- Providing technical guidance on appropriate methods for food preservation, processing, packaging, storage and handling.
n
- Establishing and reviewing quality control measures and food safety procedures to maintain required production standards.
n
- Investigating quality and processing issues and recommending practical solutions to improve product consistency, safety and efficiency.
n
- Assessing finished products for taste, flavour, colour, texture, nutritional value and overall product consistency.
n
- Reviewing test data and research outcomes to identify opportunities for improving products, processes and production techniques.
n




- Maintaining technical documentation including product specifications, testing results, production records and food technology reports.
n
- Carrying out laboratory and production trials to assess ingredients, formulations and food processing methods.
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Food Technology, Food Science, Food Engineering or a closely related discipline.
n
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience in food technology, food product development, food processing or a related role.
n
- Sound knowledge of food science, food processing, product development and quality control practices.
n
- Ability to conduct food testing, product trials and technical evaluations and interpret results accurately.
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with production and management teams.
