The Opportunity

Due to expanding project and service demands, Becker Mining Australia is seeking aStone Dust Operator to join our team inThornton. This is acasualrole with an estimated minimum of 20hours per week, day & afternoon shifts midweek.

The Stone Dust Operator's primary duty is to operate production equipment, bag stone dust products, maintain production output, and prepare finished goods for dispatch in a safe and efficient manner.

Key responsibilities

- Bag stone dust products in accordance with customer and production requirements
- Monitor product quality during production and packing processes
- Ensure bags are sealed, labelled and palletised correctly
- Prepare finished products for customer dispatch
- Maintain production equipment in a clean and serviceable condition




- Conduct routine cleaning of machinery and production areas
- Follow all company policies, procedures and safe work practices
- Report safety hazards, incidents, injuries and near misses promptly
- Maintain housekeeping standards within the production and storage areas
- Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors

About you

- Current NSW Driver's Licence
- Ability to follow instructions and safe work procedures
- Ability to work effectively within a team workplace
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks accurately and thoroughly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to safely undertake manual handling tasks including lifting, bending, and prolonged standing
- Previous manufacturing or production experience (desired)
- Forklift Licence (desired)
- Willingness to obtain apolice clearance and employment medical
