We are seeking a reliable and experienced Remote Takeaway All-Rounder to join our team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with previous experience working in a roadhouse, remote community takeaway, or similar rapid-paced food service environment .

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Provide friendly and efficient front-of-house customer service.
n
- Take customer orders, process payments and handle cash accurately.
n
- Prepare and serve takeaway food and beverages.
n
- Assist with kitchen duties as required, including food preparation, cooking, cleaning and maintaining food hygiene standards.
n
- Provide kitchen coverage when required, including during staff leave.
n
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised takeaway and kitchen environment.
n
- Follow Australian food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
n
- Assist with stock control, deliveries and general takeaway duties as required.
n
- Work independently and as part of a small team in a remote environment.
n
- Be flexible with working hours and duties to meet operational requirements.
n

Essential Requirements

n

n
- Previous experience in a roadhouse, remote community takeaway, café, takeaway shop or similar food service environment .
n
- Demonstrated front-of-house/customer service experience .
n
- Food Supervisor Certificate.
n
- Australian-standard food safety and kitchen health and safety certificates.
n
- Current First Aid Certificate.
n
- Current Australian driver’s licence.
n




- Ability to assist in the kitchen when required and provide coverage during periods of staff leave.
n
- Reliable, flexible and able to work independently in a remote environment.
n
- Strong communication skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
n

Desirable

n

n
- Previous experience working in a remote or isolated location.
n
- Experience with stock management and ordering.
n
- Barista or commercial kitchen experience.
n
- Previous experience supervising food service operations.
n

This position requires someone who is versatile, dependable and willing to pitch in wherever needed . The successful applicant will be comfortable working across front-of-house and kitchen duties and maintaining high standards of customer service, food safety and cleanliness in a remote setting.
