Forklift Driver Operator

We are seeking a Forklift Operator to join a busy recycling operation based in Townsville. This role is at the heart of the yard's daily operations — moving bins, filling skips, and loading trucks — and suits someone who takes pride in getting the job done safely and efficiently.

Required Skills:

- Current LF forklift licence
n
- Good level of fitness with the ability to complete manual handling tasks
n
- Solid safety awareness and ability to follow WH&S; practices
n

Nice to Have Skills:

n

- Telehandler ticket — a massive advantage, though not essential
n
- Prior experience in the recycling, waste management, or yard operations industry
n

Preferred Education and Experience:

- Experience operating a forklift in a yard, recycling, or industrial setting
n

Other Requirements:

- Shifts run 6:00 am-2:00 pm, with some overtime as required
n
- Willingness to get hands-on in a physically demanding, outdoor yard environment
