A day in the life of a Chef

n

Join our Sydney team as a full-time Chef and play a key role in delivering an exceptional in-flight dining experience for some of the world's leading 5-star airlines. Key responsibilities include:

n

- Working in a fast-paced commercial kitchen.
n
- Preparing and cooking a variety of bulk hot and cold dishes, following menu specifications and ensuring consistent quality.
n
- Using advanced knife skills and food preparation equipment efficiently, maintaining portion control and minimising waste.
n
- Conducting quality checks and upholding all food safety, safety, and hygiene policies, including HACCP.
n
- Coordinating catering staff and other team members to deliver to production schedules.
n
- Demonstrating basic computer skills for administrative tasks.
n

About You

n

n
- Full ongoing working rights in Australia
n




- Ability to pass pre-employment checks, incl. National Police Check and medical assessment
n
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or higher)
n
- 2+ years' Chef experience.
n
- Ability to work in a quick-paced commercial kitchen under pressure.
n
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications.
n
- Availability to work shifts (including weekends and public holidays) and to stand for extended periods.
n
- Food hygiene and HACCP knowledge (desirable).
n
