BX Bunka Australia, specifically Steel-Line Garage Doors is looking for a competent individual to fill the role of a Service Technician on a permanent, full-time basis working out of our Cairns Office. This role suits someone hands-on, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently on the road, with your schedule managed by our admin team.

What you'll need:

- Technical, electrical, or trade experience is a plus
n
- Current driver's licence (Class C)
n
- Strong problem-solving skills and positive judgement on priorities
n
- Solid time management and communication skills
n




- Comfortable using computers and a range of power tools
n
- Garage door industry experience helpful but not essential
n

What you'll do:

n

- General maintenance, servicing, and repair of garage doors and openers
n
- Diagnose faults and replace motors and other components as needed
n
- Deliver friendly, professional service and follow through on customer issues
n
- Complete accurate daily paperwork and run sheets
n
- Follow WH&S; procedures and report hazards or incidents
n
- Keep your uniform, company vehicle, and job sites clean and presentable
n
- Take on other reasonable duties as required
