Expressions of Interest - Armed Security Officers

Advent Security is seeking expressions of interest from Armed Security Officers for assignments across metropolitan Melbourne.

n

We are interested in experienced officers who demonstrate sound judgement, professionalism and a strong commitment to safety, client service and operational procedures.

n

To be considered, you must:

n

Hold a current Victorian Private Security Individual Operator Licence endorsed for Armed Guard; and

n

Hold the appropriate current firearms licence for armed security work, or have previously held that licence and be eligible to obtain it again before undertaking armed duties; and

n

Hold, or be eligible to obtain, an Australian Government Baseline or NV1 security clearance, depending on the assignment.

Applicants who previously held the required firearms licence are encouraged to apply. Appointment to an armed assignment will depend on obtaining and maintaining all required licences, training and approvals. A previously held licence does not authorise armed duties.

We offer full-time, part-time and casual roles across a range of metropolitan Melbourne sites, with above-Award conditions plus relevant allowances. Rosters and site details will be discussed with shortlisted applicants.
