Join the Catering team at Pindara Private Hospital as a Part‐Time Food Services Assistant, supporting the delivery of high‐quality meals and excellent service to our patients, staff and visitors.

Working alongside a supportive team, you will contribute to the smooth day‐to‐day operation of the hospital's food services, helping ensure meals are prepared, presented and delivered safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Assisting at mealtime with the service line setups and serving the meals and beverages in accordance with dietary requirements and hospital standards.
n
- Assisting the broader catering team with daily operations and special requirements.
n
- Provide friendly and respectful service to patients, staff and visitors
n
- Follow food safety procedures, including appropriate food handling and temperature control
n
- Clean and maintain kitchen, food service and equipment areas
n
- Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen duties as required
n
- Support stock rotation, storage and replenishment of food and supplies
n
- Work collaboratively with the Catering team to ensure timely meal service
n
- Follow relevant workplace health and safety, infection prevention and hospital procedures
n

You Will Also Bring

n

n
- Previous experience in food services, hospitality, catering or a commercial kitchen environment is desirable
n
- A strong commitment to food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
n




- Excellent customer service and communication skills
n
- A friendly, professional and compassionate approach
n
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
n
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
n
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
n
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

- Working across a rotating 7‐day roster, including morning and afternoon shifts.
