A2Z Cars is looking for a reliable, hardworking and practical Yard Hand / Dealership All-Rounder to join our team in Belmore.
n
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety and is happy to assist with the day-to-day operations of a busy used car dealership.
n
You do not need to be a mechanic. We are looking for someone practical, reliable and comfortable carrying out general yard and vehicle-related tasks.
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
- Basic vehicle cleaning and detailing
n
- Moving and organising vehicles around the yard
n
- Delivering and collecting vehicles from mechanics, inspections and other locations
n
- Keeping the yard clean, organised and presentable
n
- Assisting with vehicle preparation
n
- Carrying out simple tasks using basic hand and power tools
n
- Fitting number plates and assisting with other basic vehicle tasks
n
- General yard maintenance
n
- Assisting the team with day-to-day dealership operations and general duties as required
n
n
About you
n
n
- Full Australian Driver Licence – essential
n
- Confident driving both automatic and manual vehicles
n
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
n
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
n
- Good work ethic and positive attitude
n
- Good attention to detail
n
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Willing to help with a variety of tasks as required
n
n
Previous experience in a car dealership, automotive environment, detailing, yard work or a similar hands-on role would be an advantage, but is not essential.
n
