Club Chermside, established for over 75 years, is a Community Club in Brisbane's Northern Suburbs that is currently on the lookout for an Assistant Venue Manager.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, driven manager in a full time capacity that is willing to learn all aspects of the venue's day to day operations.

n

Club Chermside only trades 6 days a week and your roster could be guaranteed days off (Closed on Mondays). We also do not trade past Midnight, so no super late nights involved! We are a small, supportive team and the best part of our job is taking people outside to teach them Barefoot Bowling.

To be considered for this role you must have a minimum of two years experience in a similar management role, be willing to work nights and weekends on a adaptable roster and be able to handle the unexpected challenges that all hospitality roles are presented with on a daily basis.

Essential Role Requirements Are:

- Current Approved Managers Licence
n
- RMLV
n
- RSA and RSG
n
- Gaming Nominee / CLO highly regarded
n
- First Aid / CPR Certificate is highly regarded
n
- Ability to comply with all legal regulations, legislation and responsibilities
n
- Sound knowledge of cash reconciliation and banking
n
- Gaming operations experience (TAB, Keno and Pokies)
n
- Stock control and invoicing
n
- Rostering and staff training
n
- Must have impeccable presentation
n
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
n
